Dear Parents, Teachers, Students, and Members of the Godwin High School Community,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!
The Godwin PTSO is steadfast in its commitment to supporting the education and welfare of students by fostering relationships between the parents, administration, teachers, and students at Godwin High School. We do this through many avenues including:
- Monthly programs such as College Funding Coach, Getting to Know Godwin and programs related to students’ well-being
- Scholarships for six deserving seniors
- The Educator of the Year award to one deserving faculty member
- Appreciation lunches for faculty and staff
- Capital purchases and support for the school such as new water fountains, the cafeteria sound system and supplementing teacher training
- Volunteering our time in the front office and the student store known as The Cave
- Facilitating conversations with the administration about concerns in the Godwin community
Our efforts are funded through two primary sources:
- Donations to the Eagle Fund
- The sale of Godwin spirit wear
How can you help?
- First, contribute to the Eagle Fund!
- Second, volunteer!
- Third, purchase spirit wear!
All three of these things can be accomplished right here on the PTSO website including payment by credit card. Please explore the website and seriously consider how you can contribute to the efforts of the PTSO. Your time and money will be well invested and very much appreciated!
